Without using Usergroups for every member. I run a board which has a ton of clients. I make each client their own forum under a category. I make sure no one else can see that forum but myself and the specific client. I was using usergroups to control this, but I am adding WAY too many clients and Usergroups + Forum Permissions just isn't doing it for me anymore. It takes too long to set up, plus I think I've added too many usergroups/forum permissions. NOw the forum permissions page won't even load all the way...
Could someone help me ASAP? Basically I have a client category. I get all my clients to sign up, I add a forum with their username as the title, and then I set that forum to only be accessible to them and myself. I don't want anyone else to even know that forum exists. --------------- Added [DATE]1236094284[/DATE] at [TIME]1236094284[/TIME] --------------- If I could get the whole forum permissions page to load I would still do it that way... :/ |
