One of the users (accidentally) selected that they were born after 9-21-1988 (even though they registered their birth date as being in 1987). Thus, they couldn't post until an admin corrected this, since it had configured the user as "COPPA user awaiting moderation". The other thing about that is that an admin didn't know that the user was configured this way until they went into the control panel to see that there was a user awaiting moderation.
Can I hack something into the board that just makes a check on the birthdate instead of having the user choose between two different links? (to tell you the truth, even I made that mistake once
)
If not, is it possible to configure the board to send an different email or an additional email along with the new user notification, such as "COPPA user registered"?
