Look over at the vbadvanced forums, there was a thread I think with a couple of xml type feeds that woudl give you a simple graphic with the weather in it. You could use a profile field for the zip.

There's also an awesome weahther program, weatherbug I think, and I think someone had a vb integration for it at one point.

Sorry I dont have links, I am going off memory when I searched this a while back.
