Postbit question
On the world of warcraft forums, whenever an MVP posts their text is green, and their postbit_legacy area is customized with a special background. And when a blizzard employee posts, their text is blue, and again, their postbit_legacy area is custom as well.
I found a phpBB theme that replicated this feature but I want to be able to do it on vBulletin. Specifically I want officers in my guild to post in a different color than regular users. To the best of my ability (which I admit is rather limited) I have not been able to find a mod that provides this, nor have I found a feature in the control panel that allows it. And there are so many posts and mods and hacks and styles that my mind is numb after searching. Can someone point me in the right direction? Ultimately I want to use postbit_legacy, and if the member is of officer rank or higher, their postbit_legacy has a custom background, and their text in the post will be in a color that makes it stand out. Further, I would like for it to add an icon to the thread indicating that an officer from my guild has posted there. On top of that if I could get it to do the extra icon on the thread only in a few specific forums that would be stellar I know it's asking a lot, and very likely my answers may be found in a bunch of different places, but since I can no longer feel my brain working, I figured I'd defer to the collective knowledge of the vBulletin.org pundits.
