Gah no one can answer this >.>
Basically I run a forum that is mostly for downloading PSD's. PSD's are photoshop documents. The photoshop art is seperated by rank, each rank has its own forum. Im looking to know how I would do the following. I will need a mysql query that will check in one of the tables for if a user has made a topic in either of the forums. It will then count all the topics made by the user in the rank forums, i will need to specify forumid's in the query too... Each topic will represent a PSD since users are only allowed to submit 1 psd per topic. When they submit the topic, it will be added to something in the postbit, which I would want called "PSD's submitted:". In order to access the better ranked forums, they will have to have submitted a certain amount of psds, and so on. So when a user who has 0 psds tries to access the semi-professional artwork section filled with psd's, if they have lets say 10 psds submitted in the lower forums, they can access it. If not, they get an error. How and where would I go about forming a query to count the topics made by a user in the forum id's i specify?, and from there how can I get the topics made displayed in the postbit?
Thanks, M4x p.s. ive tried everything and cant seem to find a solution. --------------- Added [DATE]1224947264[/DATE] at [TIME]1224947264[/TIME] --------------- dangggg. |
