I've just created a form for editing a message in a plugin I've made. Now when the message has already been posted and you notice that it needs to be edited (the contents of the post) and you hit edit, the title of the message is showing up but not the actual message.
In the form for the title I've set the value to "$message[title]" and the subject will always appear. However, I've set the value for the main textarea message to "$message[message]" but it doesn't show up when you edit it forcing you to rewrite the entire message. I need a way to display the contents of the post when you edit it. There must be a way to do this as all forum systems do this when you edit a thread/post. Do you guys know how to do it? |
