Meh - I didn't like it very much - too minimalist with very few customization options for my liking. I think the ultimate browser would be something that offers the end user a wide variety of customizations right out-of-box and definitely be easy on system resources.
What Google Chrome is missing IMO:
Bookmarks ordering manager to easily order bookmarks
User customization (ie ability to order toolbar placement)
Options to import settings from all installed browsers
No full screen mode?!?!? :-/
Address bar with option to add separate search
Feeds integration would be nice for new "streamlined" browsing
Integration to check Googlemail would be wise (aka integrating Google features)
Integration to track adsense and other google-only implements (analytics, etc...)
An optional sidebar to easily access bookmarks, downloads, history, etcetera would be nice
More options to customize site-specific preferences (ie show images, block popups, etc...)
Additional options to customize the ugly, blocky & waaay different appearance
A better way to store website passwords and such whilst keeping browser integrity safe
I do like the speed of browsing - it is quite quick loading pages. The privacy feature is interesting and novel - but seems incomplete... I sort of like the look of the tabs up top - but most will probably hate it LOL --- It's an interesting beta - but there's just so much missing IMO......
I like that Google is taking a chance by introducing the Chrome browser - With a few additions implemented and a wider embracing of user-specific customization - I think it's a possible winner.
