Member Info Tabs?

Has anyone come up with a solution on how to edit the Member Info tabs in the new profile templates? They use the 'tcat' and 'thead' classes as defaults, but I need to change the selected tab from using the 'tcat' class to something different. Editing the java code is not an option for me unless it is possible to make it apply for only one style.
