Display Latest Post on Separate page

Please forgive me if this has been mentioned somewhere else. I am looking for a way to show the latest posts (say 10 latest posts) on the home page of the website which is not the homepage of the forum.

I other word, I have the forum in a folder called "forum" but I want to displace the latest 10 post in the index page of the website.

Please show me how I can do that without showing all header, footer, etc.. of the forum.
