Thanks for that...! Besides login integration, what other benefits are there? Could you pull threads from the forums, and display in a little block called "Latest Discussion". Any other advantages ?
To add, the news page with Drupal (which I'll customize), is it a seperate page, where your members can make comments? Does vBDrupal integrate member comments, to link to a members profile in the forums ?
To be honest, I really haven't used vBDrupal in quite some time as I have eliminated vB from my site.. but when I was using it, there were premade blocks for forum posts. The user links all linked to vB profile (which I didn't like ).
As for "news" in Drupal. Drupal doesn't necessarily have a news module. Instead you are able to create custom Content Types (nodes) which can be used for virtually anything you need. And yes, you can allow comments.
