Present users with a page upon registering?

I'm interested in finding a mod that would present users either with a thread or just a page upon registering.

Basically, I need a way to present our users with a page that outlines how to get started in our hobby and places to start reading to get the basic information.

I believe there's a mod out there that can take care of this, but I can't find it any more...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
