Let guest view 5 pages in a section but then have to register?

I have a gallery
I want to let guests view 5 photos full size photo pages
If they try to view more than 5 pages then they will be asked to register.

Any ideas how I can implement this?

Perhaps with IF THIS_SCRIPT=x and something to count the views that then says IF VIEWS = 5> then send to register page?
