Good things for blogs - are they exists?

Interesting to get hack/hook which will allow to show last messages/comments from blog at the top right corner of vbulletin while forum are open.
We mean, if to take this forum as example - we want the block shown instead "Welcome, edogs. You have 0 unread messages; Total 2. You last visited: 25 Dec 2005 at 21:16.".
And also reverse thing - to show last forum records in block while viewing blogs.

Also - interesting to see hack/hook for blog with ability to use domain/username links, for example, to access our blog by edogs.vbulletin.org url
