Sorting voters on Polls by who answered first?
I noticed in the demo that public poll results are sorted alphabetically by who voted for what.
I have a client that wants to use a forum package that vBulletin satisfies in all features requested by this client except for this poll system. My client would like to be able to ask simple trivia questions with the poll system and then look at the answers to find out who A> answered correctly (already works with the poll system now) and B> who was the first person that answered correctly (which is covered up by the data being sorted alphabetically) Would anyone consider making the sorting of the public poll results usernames something that is user (or admin) configurable? I might be whiz enough with php to change the sorting, but only if the data is available as to who answered first... assuming that it is stored on a first come first serve basis. It would be a lot nicer to see a drop down list that lets the poll-poster choose how the names are sorted if that is readily possible. With that minor feature alone I could tell my client that vBulletin satisfies all his needs for a forum. (Already it is the one that has come the closest to being "perfectly suited".) Thanks for your time! |
