Hello,
Be gentle to me, please, this is my second post, the nice people in another area sent me here to ask it. I've spent the last two days learning to use vBulletin, and have benefitted very quietly from all the great advice contained here in older messages. But I'm still scratching my head over something that seems like it should happen. But I don't see where to make it so. :| Now I know why, it isn't done. When you have an event on the calendar, how can you set it up so that it appears on the main page when the members log in? Things happening today, maybe tomorrow. If there isn't anything, then nothing pops up. The calendar is an awesome addition to a really professional looking and working package, and frankly, it is one of the reasons I reccomended vBulletin over a competitor when time came to purchase a board this week. I'm hoping someone has already done this, or it looks as appealing to someone as it does to me, but that someone can code. I might have managed the modification in Perl, but I'd never looked at PhP until a few days ago. So I know I'm out of my league for now. Thank you so much, -deb |
