I have a usergroup that is allowed permission to forum x. Only these individuals are allowed to access this forum. When they subscribe, they are added to a subscribers usergroup. This automatically places them in the "Subscribed" usergroup. Since not everyone in this usergroup is a member of the group that can access forum x, anyone who subscribes regardless of what their previous usergroup was, cannot access forum x. In order for me to fix this, I have to manually switch the primary group back to the original usergroup, and make the subscribers group their secondary usergroup.
I also want subscriber names to appear in a certain color. This does not work if the subscriber group is not their primary group. Is there any way to automatically make the subscribed usergroup add as a secondary group? well i figured out the first part. is there a way to make a name colors based on a secondary usergroup though? |
