Synchronizing one thread in two different locations -- is this possible?
Hey folks,
How are we all doing in here today? I'm having a bit of a hard time trying to figure this all out, and figured I would post a request here to get some much needed help from all you the experts out there. I'm trying to figure out how to get a thread placed on two different boards (of the same site). For Ex. Forum A has a thread called: "Let's Go Raptors!". and Forum B has a thread called: "Let's Go Raptors!". Is there any way at all that I can somehow make it so that I can have two instances of the same thread (not copied, or moved!), but active, so that whenever a poster replies to the thread on Forum A's thread, it will also add the same reply on Forum B's thread and update it as if the reply was posted from Forum B, when in reality it was posted from Forum A? I'm not entirely sure if that made much sense, but I'm hoping it did! I've already tried fiddling around with this in the database for hours on end without any succession, so I'm officially stumped with no other ideas left in the tank. Thanks for any help in advance to anyone that can help me out with this. It's greatly appreciated. |
