Adding a Location to Who's Online from a custom script

Hello,

This is a modification sort of question. I am aware with numerous mods, that after you install them and you are directed to their .php file, their location appears on the Who's Online. Currently, myself and others, are working a custom portal. The scripts connect to the vB database for permission information and profile information. I was curious, is there anyway to add this index.php script as a custom location to our who's online?

Any help would be appreciated
