global new thread button

Forgive if this question was asked before.....

But does anyone of a mod - or how to implement - a new thread link, that will then bring up a listing of forums to post in, rather than a user selecting a forum first then selecting new thread..

In other words I would like to achieve this:

new thread > pick forum > post thread

instead of this:

pick forum > new thread > post thread

Can anyone help?
