Well quite. I can only speak for myself, but I don't see why it should be organised separately on a spreadsheet when there's an install system that was specifically built to do exactly that job, albeit only for one forum at a time.
If you're going to have to write it all down by hand somewhere instead of using the install system then there's little point having an "Installed modifications" list at all unless you only have one forum. And for a site like vBulletin.org I would imagine that there's a fairly significant proportion of active members with more than one forum. Even if the other one is just a testvb. I dunno, I just don't see the logic in that myself. Imagine if your browser only stored bookmarks for a limited array of sites and the software creator told you to write the rest down on a bit of paper instead of using the system built for the job. Ok so it's a slightly arbitrary comparison but not entirely irrelevant. Well whatever, not a big deal. |
