How to view sub-forum as home?

Is there any way or any mod out there which makes a sub forum appear as the board's home? So without an URL linking to the forum's 'real' home in the nav bar and so on? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, what's up with the "imported" which was added to the username here? I haven't visitted vbulletin.org in quite some time obviously.
