Rewrite Userprofile links.

Hello.
I've set my htaccess up so that you can view users like so:
www.gmodcentral.com/forums/jesus < Which is me.

I'd like to know how I can rewrite all the links to users, as the above as opposed to:
http://www.gmodcentral.com/forums/member.php?u=1 style of link.
