flash src different for IE and FF?

I am trying to embed flash baner, but this type of src doesnt work in IE:

src="../images/650_60_transparent.swf"

It works in FF though...

In IE only works this: src="650_60_transparent.swf" and then I have to put the .swf in root

Any idea why is that?
