Disable a sub-forum from showing up in New Posts

I figured turning off the ability to search a particular forum would prevent it from showing when you click on "New Posts", but it seems this is not so.

So, the question today is: How do I make it so a subforum/category will not show it's new posts when you click on New Posts. I would prefer that my imported RSS feeds do not show up on a New Post search.
