How do i get the result from a custom profile field.

Hi well I have a custom profile field which is field5. I am using a plugin manager to check if the field is filled.

I want to know what the $_POST var would be for that variable. And am I also using the plugin manager on the appropriate spot?

profile_updateoptions

If anyone knows of a hack that might exists that already does this, I would appreciate it, I searched but couldn't really find anything, in the meantime i decided to try and see what I can make.
