send PM to users instead of mails from Admin CP

I want to send a PM to all of my users instead of emails whenever I have something important to tell them. I don't want to replace the adminCP send email function since could be very useful in certain situations but I need all the options (search crietria) that are available now. I used search and couldn't find anything so if this exists I'm sorry (and link me pls :P).
