moving mods&hacks: test-server to real deal

Hi I was wondering if there is a way to move all mods & hacks from the test-server to the actual server I'll be running the forum on.

For instance I know I can manually download the plugins, but is there a quicker way?
The same go's for any modified templates, or do they come with the style?

For example; If I would place a back-up of my test-server dbase and all the files to the real server and then replace it with a back-up of the real forum, would that do the trick?
