A week or so ago, my database started going down, giving us an error concerning the ibPro arcade. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and the database crashed before I even enabled the arcade. So, I uninstalled it again. We ran maintenance, optimized tables, ran a database repair from my servers control panel.
Now we don't have an arcade, but my site keeps going down 2, 3 sometimes 4 times a day. Always a database error. I've contacted my host about it, he says it's not the server, but rather a problem within vBulletin database. I asked if I should uninstall vB and do a fresh install. He said that won't help because I'll be reinstalling the same problem.
At the moment he's reinstalling the mySQL server, but says he doesn't think it'll do any good, that the problem is within vBulletin.
