paid subscriptions usergroup

Hi, I have a forum and we just put up some Paid Subscriptions. When they purchase it, the suer is supposed to change automatically to the Paid Usergroup. We just had our first person pay but he didn't change usergroups. I was wondering if something in Paid subscriptions is the problem that I did wrong or if its a bug or if I'm just too anxious and it takes a few hours to update the new paid user into his new usergroup.
