Button modification question
Hi all, be easy on me now I'm a newbie trying to learn this stuff.
My problem is I have added a non-quoting "reply" button to my postbit template. That works fine on the posts. BUT this same template controls PMing so when a user goes to read their PM, they see the "reply" button and click on it, and get an error message due to the button not pointing at the private.php. It thinks it's a post. I've tried figuring how to somehow point the one button in two directions with some sort of 'if condition' and 'else' thingy but to no avail. So I'm basically asking do I need to change something in the php's to make this work? Is there some coding I'm not getting right in the template perhaps? I want it stay the same on the posts but alternate when it's used in a PM to reply with noquote. Below is the simple reply code for the button used for posts: Quote:
