page not found on redirects

This only started happening yesterday, and I'm not sure what the cause could be.
Whenever I click any submit button, whether in the vb main area, or the admin, I get a page not found.
I was able to solve the issue on the forum part by turning on the redirect message page, but that does not help me with the admin part.

Has anyone run into this issue before?
Ideas for a solution?

Also, I noticed that the db "might" be corrupting itself, as when i receive pm's it will say it was from person "5" instead of their name. It happens when coming from multiple different members, but not all the time.

I did the repair db function, and it seems ok. I also cleared out the session table for vb as it was at 85k but even that did not help.

running linux redhat with vb 3.0.3
