Too many people sit around and say "Aw nothing can be done, so why bother". But actually, with enough people forcing those in power, to seriously look at an issue, sometimes change can occur.
Ten years ago, no one thought they could bring the mighty tobacco industry to it's knees, but look around today. Non smoking laws are the status quo. Why? Because enough people took the time to be heard.
Gather your signature, post your petitions anywhere you can. But don't stop there, make sure your collections are sent to the right people. You never know what can be done, if you don't try.
But look already, at some of your "signatures". Some are not the kind you would send as a serious message to our law makers. Here is where you will have your problems.
