that sounds like it would work... if only i knew more about php coding! i'm still very new to all of this, not to back at installing hacks and perhaps modifiying one to suit my board, but i've yet to try and code my own hack.

well thanks for the pointers... and if you happen to have some extra time i would greatly appreciate if you could code a hack to do it like you said.
