show special threads in a non vb page

alright, im looking for a hack / mod that does the following:

i got a subforum which is only used for news and messages are posted in it like this:

[AAA] new tool released
[BBB] new cd released
[CCC] cool wallpaper

as you see, its basically 3 different forums in one, the only difference is the text between [ and ]. Id like to know how I could achieve it, that either the last 10 [AAA] or [BBB] topics are read out (not mixed, only [AAA] for example) and displayed on a non vb page. that page doesnt have to contain a login feature or anything, it should just display those 10 last posts, only from that one category.

any hints?
