Sorry to bump this thread after 3 month.

I would also like to see a hack/phpscript which switches a specific existing user ID with an empty user ID. Some of our admins have high ID numbers, and I want to give them a lower number, cause it just looks cool (you need to favor someone's ego now and then ) We have a lot of unused low ID's, cause they are leftovers of old test registrations.
