Thoughts on deleting member accounts

:lol: @ n9ne. That's weird, generally if people don't want to post at your site anymore they just stop. Though deleting their accounts is a worry, just had an email from a chick who hasn't posted at our place since week one wondering where her account has gone. Have given up, will delete accounts when members ask me to, but wont prune the lists anymore.

On another note you have any members who regularly visit but don't post, we have one member who is registered at both our sites and comes from another site. She hasn't posted at any site, but shows up everyday and reads through a couple of forums.

Filburt, the situation is of course different if people didn't specifically join a site, but find their details in the member lists of that site. I would think, and apparently there's a lot of agreement out there, that this practise is morally offensive. But then again downunder we don't get a lot of detail on freedom of association, which of course is one of the great virtues of the US.
