Converting OLD to NEW VB?????
OK I posted this before, but got no response?? So I figured I would try again, this time with a little more detail.
The OLD Software I'm using stores the messages in a seperate folder on my system like this: root/sitename/BOARDFOLDER/bb1/6007 The bb1 is just a folder name created by the software. The 6007 is a txt file, but without any extensions (no .txt). And the 6007 is numbered starting from the number 1 all the way to infinity!!! So in the bb1 folder it could have 6007,6008,6009, and so on. OK when you open the 6007 file, it looks exactly like this: SUBJECT>Re: This board is cool. OK, now you know all the GUTS of the matter. IS there a way to use, or create a piece of software that will convert that to being able to be used by VB??? OR Can I pay someone $$$ TO create something for me????? TO DO THAT???? LET ME KNOW. Yours, Kirk Voclain |
