How to add a small php script globally
Hello! I've googled and searched this forum, but I can't find a simple explanation for what I want to do. Hopefully someone can help me.
What I have: A block of php with some mysql queries mixed in that works in a cms widget or a forum sidebar block. What I want to do: Take that code and put it in or under the Below Navbar Advertisement part of the site (horizontally). My problem: At the best I can understand I might need to take my code, put it into a separate php file, then somehow make a plugin that pulls from that file and somehow loads into the spot I want via a template edit... that might use a hook? What I'm hoping for: Either a way to simply put the widget/sidebar block into a different section of the page (that loads everywhere) or a better explanation for how to do this than I've found so far. P.S. I'm using vBulletin 4.2.3. *fingers crossed for good luck* |
