Scheduled task/cron job for moderated posts?

Scheduled task/cron job for moderated posts?

Is there an existing default scheduled task/cron job for moderated posts? I ask because today there were 3 posts awaiting moderation that were 3, 4, and 1 day old. Yesterday there were no posts awaiting moderation

So I'm thinking that I don't have a scheduled task set up. If there isn't a scheduled task how does vB determine when to show that there is a post needing moderation?
