Buttons navbar background (hover), help!

Hi, I apologize for the English!
I have a problem with vbulletin skin. I want to change the color of the hover action button navigation. Let me explain ... When I click as "forum" appears black as the background of the button. If I pass the mouse over "articles" button appears black alike. I would like to change the color of the button when you pass over differentiating it from when it was clicked. I clear? Basically I want this because I did not put the lines to separate the buttons because I do not dislike!
For the background color of the buttons I used a image made with photoshop. For the alternative would do the same, just do not know what code to use!! Thanks to those who help me!
