Problem with text editor/background

I'm having problems with the text editor in vBulletin.

I can't change the background to the text editor and I have tried the following (for none to work):

Added a replacement variable for the 'quick reply' background
Tried to edit the style templates
A million other things

I'd be appreciative if you can help me.
