<a href="https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php/383967-Invalid-redirect-url-appearing-since-security-patch/page3" target="_blank">vB developer Paul M. acknowledged there is a login bug</a> (and it affects both version because the programmers copied some code from version 4 to 3.8.7) but said they don't have an estimated release date for the solution.
