Customized borders on avatars
So, I've added a border on our avatars at United States History Forum (see attachment), but I figured that a nice 'gold frame' image would look better/classier for the theme of the site.
Since all avatars will be provided by me and be 200x200 in size, there shouldn't be an issue where one would look out of place or anything. So, I could potentially use a static image to do it.
