One user mentioned he doesn't get notifications at all, and I had been getting notified of every post, even if their were multiple posts to the same thread- it says I should only get the first notification and not additional until I visit the thread, but I was getting them every time- it's been like this forever for me, since I started using the subscriptions feature months ago... this could really bog down your email system if it's happening to everyone. (not to mention annoy users).
