How do I? Custom Search by Forum Number

I want to keep my search as it is but I would like to add another in a sidebar block that searches only the forums I tell it to.

What I have is an area thats a marketplace with Rss feeds. I would like a custom search to only return results from those forums with the feeds.

Would I make a copy of the search.php and call is something like search2.php then add the forums excluded hack? In a sense removing all my standard forums and leaving the marketplace forums to be searched. Then in a block add the form code that directs to search2.php.

To me it sounds like it would work but I would love to get some feedback on this. Also the exact form to copy since theres several search forms in VB4.
