dealing with the HEADER !!!

OK then,
Who's going to be the first brave modder to reduce the header down to a single row???
can we propose a bounty!
for my part i offer my respect and admiration for starters...

sorry to criticise but i would prefer it to be much compacter, the navtabs are a big waste of space on my site as i have no blogs or homepage so there are only 2 buttons and both are duplicated lower down in the header.
come to think of it, there is a link to search on the next row down, so we can remove the entire row, altho it would be a pity to lose the search box.
