In your admincp --> maintenance --> diagnostics
Send yourself a email to the address you put in the cmd above.

Post the results from the cmd.

Run this cmd as well and paste what it tells you:

hostname

tail -f /var/log/email.err | grep "vodkaholic1983@live.co.uk"
tail: cannot open `/var/log/email.err' for reading: No such file or directory
tail: no files remaining

am running lenny mate Debian Linux 5.0.4

The Vb diagnostics email says its sent fine but it i never get it
ive trying loads of emails and checked the spam
