PM attachments and Goldbrick stats

Yes, I was running 3.7 previously and just moved my site to a new url and having some probs with the goldbrick option and also pm attachments. I have purchased 4.0 but want to get these working before I try it on something new. I just purchased 3.84 and will the xml downloads from my old site work with 3.84 and is there some guidance on what I may be doing wrong? Do I need to download each xml seperate from my old site and upload each seperate to get the right results? I searched the forums but not having any luck. I hate to bother you all but I really need some help! Thanks!!!!
