staging area
I have made several changes to my site on a development site and would like to provide our production users a gentle way to use the new version of the site. Ideally I'd like to stage the changes in a new area but I'm not sure how I can have the staging version of the site point to the same database and make changes on the live site while the current version of the site does it as well.
The changes in the site include changes to plugins and other non-template items so it's not simply adding another template and letting them choose between the two templates. Maybe I'm missing something - so please advice as best as possible. Thanks www.askmehelpdesk.com |
