Lots of mods running together
Howdy, I'm looking for some help.
I'm undertaking a project for university which involves building an interactive fiction site. Some of you might remember that a few years ago I released a mod for vB2 called vBstory - well this is pretty much the same thing, only a lot larger. Unlike vBstory, what I'm building is going to be mostly stand-alone, built using CakePHP - but because I want the community features offered by vB, I'm going to try and build a single-sign-on system allowing users to only require one set of login details. This in itself should not be a problem - if I was only linking vB and Cake, and letting vB do all the user registration/authentication bit - but I need to do a bit more than this. As it stands at the moment I'm looking at a few mods which I think should compliment each other well and offer the functionality that I'm looking for, namely:
What I'm looking for at the moment is information on success rates when using these mods together, to find out if anyone has had any problems with them, and any suggestions that you might have on then successfull running of them. I hope that someone can help. Thank you |
